Two Cities, Two Climates: Bangkok Heat, Highland Cold

Bangkok supplies heat, humidity and April's Songkran festival, when every outdoor session shares the calendar with citywide water warfare. Training in that climate is mostly a hydration and pacing problem: effort stays constant while perceived exertion climbs, and the record shows sessions shifted to earlier hours to respect it.

Chiang Mai supplies altitude, mountain cold and wet stone. The Above Clouds — Wisdom Journey film documents ascent through cloud forest where fog does the lighting and footing demands attention on every step. Cold changes mechanics: longer warm-ups, shorter holds, breath made visible by temperature.

The practical takeaway written across the whole record: adapt the schedule, keep the standard. Sessions happen in both cities at whatever hour the climate allows, documented plainly enough that anyone can compare the two experiments side by side.

Documented practice needs no adjectives.
